Rietti GTX Electric Bike

It’s been called the most advanced electric bike design in the world. All hail the Rietti GTX Electric Bike. It was launched way back in 2003 but somehow I guess it didn’t really go that far.
The Rietti is a very powerful electric bike with sleek wind-tunnel tested outer ABS shell to the powerful inner motor and long life rechargeable battery. It is the result of 5 years of work by design teams on 3 continents. The Rietti swept numerous design awards throughout Asia. The same ABS plastic used in military applications and bulletproof vests was utilized to create the aerodynamic racing shell. Forged Vulcanite Steel was used to form the inner, reinforced long life frame. Triton 22″ cast iron wheels are guaranteed to withstand any punishment. It uses a 180W brushless DC motor that produces 50% more power than other 180W motors and power comes from a rechargeable 24V battery with a quick 6 hour charging time.
The Rietti can exceed 20 MPH and travels distances of over 30 miles with a normal weight load of 180 lbs. A maximum weight load of 280 lbs. will allow a cruising speed of 13 MPH. A handlebar display showcases speedometer, battery indicator and headlight indicator. Dual headlights and dual rear red brake light and a signal provide added safety for night riding. The reinforced chrome handlebars have been outfitted with silicone rubber grips that include a right hand twist throttle. Front and rear hand brakes control advanced dual disk brakes. And peddling the Rietti is just as smooth as most high end mountain bikes. Made by Hunt E-Vehicle Co., it weights 75 lbs., and its dimensions are: 60″ x 11 x 34.”.

I have the same bike and had problems as well. I can copy and send you the manual. I had battery problems and got them replaced ($75.00) in Chicago where I live. Now the bike works fine.
E-mail me with your problem and maybe I can help you out. Where did you purchase it?

75 lbs is rather heavy. A Bionx conversion only adds about 18 lbs to a regular bike, totalling 45 lbs or so

If anyone needs a copy of the manual, e-mail me: tyebooks@gmail.com. I scanned most of it and can do the other pages so you can have a complete set.
Thank you.

does anyone know where I can get parts for this bike? I think that I have a bad motor. The bike cluncks when ridden only when the motor is engaged.
