Garmin GPSMAP 376c Portable GPS Radio
I just realised yesterday that the GPS category on my site has been left idle ever since this site was launched 2 June 2005. Well its been an orphan for quite some time now and I’ve found a worthy post to add in there. What we have is the Garmin GPSMAP 376c that’s simply a all-in-one GPS unit that uses standard global positioning (GPS) , XMWX Satellite Weather and XM Satellite Radio. Hmm..GPS with a Radio function. I think they missed out the Digital TV thing and its pending. I’ll send them a note on this. As it goes, the only good thing this GPS will serve me is when I go for my first geo-caching expedition ( not sure when yet ).
This is the first portable GPS with XM WX Satellite Weather and XM Satellite Radio. So you not only combine a portable GPS unit with the XMWX service overlaying information like NEXRAD radar, storm cells, wind speeds, surface temperatures, forecasts, and more than a dozen other weather attributes. BUT, you also can receive satellite radio on this thing.
