Acer to launch 26-inch, 32-inch and 37-inch LCD TV
Acer, that Taiwan PC giant is going into the LCD TV market. Who isn’t ? HP and DELL have also jumped on the gun for this. After launching their cool Acer Ferrari PDA and Acer Ferrari 4000 laptop , I’d expect something better . Ho hum. Somebody turn off that TV. I need my internet medicine.
Acer will soon introduce 26-inch and 32-inch LCD TVs to the Taiwan market by partnering with local distributor Tsann Kuen Enterprise, according to the company.
The 32-inch (AT3201W) model will be priced at NT$45,900 (US$1,436), and feature resolutions up to 1366×768, a contrast ratio of 800:1 and a response time of 12ms. The 26-inch model (AL2671W) has a price tag of NT$19,900 (US$623) and will have a resolution of 1280×768, a contrast ratio of 600:1 and a response time of 16ms.
