Evergreen XviD camcorder

I’ve seen Xvid DVD players but this beats me on the head. Don’t get me wrong. I prefer Xvid format for my movies and MPEG is just too old fashion to convert anymore. Leave it to the Japs to come up with such cool stuff. Price looks good too at under USD 200 but you’ve got to get some more SD cards for those Paris Hilton style movies (wink wink)
“Screw post-processing, let’s just record directly to XviD!” must have been what Evergreen said as they decided to release this product. At under $200 USD, the DN-DV320 could very well be an extremely low cost way to break into online video for your website.
Evergreen Corporation has release the “DN-DV320″ movie camera that can record in XviD/MPEG-4 video formats and features a 3MP CMOS sensor. At their “Shanghai Donya,” it costs roughly 17,800 yen.
It’s a movie camera with a 3MP CMOS sensor. It can record in XviD/MPEG-4 video formats, and can also take still images in the JPEG format.
Movies can be recorded at resolutions of 640 x 480 or 320 x 240, with a maximum framerate of 30fps. A voice recording function is also available, to record audio at MPEG-1 Layer II 44.1.kHz/64kbps monaural.
A 16MB flash memory acts as a storage medium, but the unit also provides an SD card slot. SD cards up to 512MB can be used.
