Motorola’s latest Linux phones, the A728 and the A732

This is another news that MobileGazette seems to have left out. Funny. I always thought they would bring out the fastest news on cell phones compared to Engadget or Gizmodo. Not true today. Check out the ugly A728 and the sexy slider A732 (see above) details from Engadget below
Two more Linux-powered phones from Motorola today: the A728, which comes with 8MB of internal memory, a touch screen, and some basic, um, “productivity tools”; and the A732 (pictured above), a slider-style cellphone which has the same touch-sensitive keypad that lets you write out English and Chinese characters with your finger that’s found in the A668. Both are aimed primarily at the Asian market.
See Motorola A728 above.
The A728 offers features such as intelligent handwriting, speech-recognition dialing, a “Power Word” dictionary and Yahoo Messenger. Equipped with a sliding keypad, the A732 enables users to write characters with their fingers and send the handwritten notes as text messages. The device also learns each user’s writing style and supports basic gesture commands for editing and switching between languages.
