Panasonic announced two new audio systems – D-Dock and D-Snap. The D-Dock is a SD memory card enabled audio system with built “Hard Disk” up to 80GB. As D-Dock motto said; readily to share or play music anytime, anywhere! While D-Snap is an Mp3 Player with the rechargeable battery, recorder/FM reception functions and successfully impressed Ayumi Hamasaki (popular singer cum spokesperson) with its slim size of body.

D-dock is the world’s first CD stereo system with an SD Memory Card that deploys a built-in HDD. The first lineup of the stereo systems includes two models: “SC-SX800″ with a storage capacity of 80 GB and “SC-SX400″ with 40 GB. The system can transfer music files from CDs to the HDD at up to 8X and from the HDD to SD Memory Cards at 12X at the maximum.
D-snap Audio features a totally new look by adopting a 9.9 mm thick slim housing. The upper two models each come with a newly developed earphone that employs two drivers having dedicated acoustic circuits for low-range and mid- and high-range frequencies.
“SV-SD750V” with a Li-ion rechargeable battery able to playback for about 45 hours and with IC recorder/FM reception functions and “SV-SD700″ without IC recorder/FM reception functions are around ¥20,000 and ¥18,000, respectively.
