The Alarm clock is such a combination of sweet and bitter moments. It keeps you on time while you struggle in the morning. It certainly makes your life sunnier in the morning if it can play your favorite MP3s. This MP3 Alarm clock is equipped with 128MB of memory in a cube case. It is easy to operate with the top LCD display and backlit control. Sound system claims to be a surround like quality with the built in side speaker. How nice to have Kelly Clarkson serenade me in the morning then followed by J-Lo and Natasha Bedingfield. Life is good.

* A compact MP3 alarm clock with 128MB memory.
* A USB port to upload music direct from your PC.
* An LCD display with backlit controls so you can program your alarm, scroll and play your music.
* The alarm has a snooze function.
* This little cube has a mighty 10 hours maximum play time from a fresh set of batteries.
* This funky cube of an MP3 alarm is white in colour.
* Requires 4 x AA Batteries (not included).

    10 hours of playback time? That is really short, it will be an annoyance to keep changing the batteries.

    At 40 pounds, it is a little expensive IMHO.

    But, nice idea.

    It’s an alarm clock, so if you listen to the music to wake you up in the morning, that’s maybe 10 minutes, so it will keep going for around 60 days, or 2 months. Since it has a snooze function, maybe only a few seconds, especially if you play Britney Spears, you’ll be hitting the snooze button pretty quickly!
    Currently I use my mobile phone to wake me up, which is very similar in function in that it plays an mp3 of my choice in the morning. The sound quality isn’t as good, but I don’t leave it on after I get up because I go take a shower etc.

    This is a great idea, although perhaps if it had the option of being mains powered it would be better (doubling as a snazzy portable clock).
