iCombi Bluetooth Headset

by colbert low on July 4th, 2006

OK. I’m getting tired of my Jabra JX10 bluetooth headset. Although I can hear streaming music on it from my Eten M600 PDA Phone, its not in stereo and the music gets drown when I’m in a bus or a courtyard. I want something smooth and in stereo. Then I saw the icombi Bluetooth Headset but the price is a killer - USD $149.99.

Its comes in with a Standby time around ~ 180 hours, talk time ~ 15 hours and music playback time at ~ 10 hours. The range for the bluetooth is only 10 metres but its got some nifty buttons on it and its supposed to be the first Bluetooth headset to work with iPod Video and Nano. Frequency Response is good at 20Hz ~ 20,000Hz and its only 80grams. I won’t be shocking to find someone else making a lighter one in the future.

icombi Bluetooth Headset Tech Specs :

Can I use iCombi Bluetooth Headset with my iPod video and my bluetooth cellphone at the same time?, I mean, both linked to the iCombi at teh same time so I can hear music and hear my cellphone ring and answer the cellphone using iCombi and then resume my music after my call ends?

    Please I want to know.

    Ale.

I disagree with colbert low. from reading some of the reviews of this product, it seems that the main feature of the iCombi is to do exactly what Ale asked: pause your iPod when you receive a call, let you answer the call, and then resume playing music after your call has ended, all from the buttons on the icombi.

Just to be sure, why not get a cellphone that plays mp3’s and supports stereo bluetooth headsets? like the RAZR V3X?

    Ale,

Yes, the AH10 can and will connect to both devices at the same time. While listening to your music you will hear soft “beeps” which indicate a cell phone call is coming in. You can click the “cell” button on your headset to answer the call (which will pause your iPod) or you can click and hold the button to send the call to voicemail and continue listening to your music.

    I hope this helps!
