Linux Ubuntu in Dell
As the popularity of the Ubuntu open source system increases, finally this PC giant is eyeing on it and testing the market with a Linux base system. The operating system is perceived as fast and efficient as it omits most of the functions generally provided by Window. However to upgrade or download the software is a pain even it is free of charge. Many new users who need to adopt this Linux base system will need to go through an extensive learning curve to be the pro in this field.
Trust me, I gave up and got back to Windows. Apparently Ubuntu will be released in the Dell e-series “Essential” Dimension desktop, an XPS desktop, and an e-series Inspiron laptop! If you wish to have a basic laptop or PC with a cheaper operating system, maybe you can buy one and try it out?
