HDTV Antenna on your roof

hdtv antenna

People find it’s amusing to install an antenna for HD television as it just doesn’t seem right in the first place. According to the president of Antennas Direct, Richard Schneider, the “Eighty-year-old technology is being redesigned and re-engineered to deliver the best picture quality”. On top of it, the local TV channels, broadcast in HD over the air offer better picture quality compared to the cable and satellite TV companies. Now the local broadcast stations offer digital signals as well as analog signals, though the latter will be obsolete after 2009, to consumers who prefer the higher HD resolutions. Well I guess it’s not a bother to still add $50 on to get better value for true broadcast-quality HD signals.

Hey, what’s the antenna on the picture? Looks like Winegard HD8200P model. This is one of the best if you need both VHF and UHF bands reception. If all your channels are on the UHF band, then you can get away with a much smaller and lighter antenna
