Cyber-Shot DSC S700
Here is something new again from Sony. This time, it’s a Cyber Shot DSC S700. It will be another entry level model aim at beginners who are first time buyers. It has a 7.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and standard 3 x optical zoom. It’s view finder is a 2.3 inch TFT LCD. It has 23 mb internal memory upgradable to 4 gb with Memory Stick Duo or Memory Stick Pro Duo. It captures video at 320 x 240 resolution in avi format at 30 fps with audio. It is also compatible with PictBridge printers. This camera is easy to use with not much advance functions. Made easy for point and shoot without the hassle of adjusting different settings as it automatically adjust the best settings for you. This does mean that it is non adjustable as users can still tweak it a little to get better images. It will retail with a price tag of $180.

Here’s what I don’t understand. Why does a 7 megapixel camera come with tiny memory cards or, in this case, 23 mb internal memory? Why don’t they just ship them with a decent sized memory card and include it in the price?

I recently spent two full days digital camera shopping with my Mother. She couldn’t settle on a camera she liked enough to part with the money. In the end she ended up with a Sony Cybershot that she already wants to trade in!

I CONNECT WITH HP530 LAPTOP VISTA 32BIT AND IT DOSNT FIND THE CAMERA, NO DRIVERS??? I VE TRYED EVERYTHING..ANY IDEAS MATE??

Denniss, did you call HP and asked them ? Maybe its a Vista driver problem
