Ooma offers you a one-time price VoIP landlines

Ooma

Will Ooma be Vonage new rival? Unlike Vonage that charges users monthly, Ooma is offering users a one-time price of $399 for a small device – Ooma Hub. Ooma combines the VoIP and regular phone service. You can plug the hub into your internet connection and a landline phone, and you will get free unlimited domestic and long distance calls. Ooma will still keep your regular phone service for 911 calls in case your Internet service is not working. If you would like to broaden Ooma’s usage to other parts of the house, you could include a $39 device – Ooma Scout. Ooma works using the P2P system whereby the Ooma box at your home might route other users’ calls but this doesn’t interfere your calls. The Ooma will go on sale in September and if you would love to cut down on your phone bill, you might love to get one.
