Olympus SP-570 10-megapixel prosumer camera
I like the new Olympus SP-570 10-megapixel prosumer camera. Its got 20x zoom (520mm focal length equivalent), a macro-mode (26mm focal length equivalent) and wide angle capabilities. There’s also dual image stabilization (for shaky hands), 15fps sequential shooting and VGA movies at 30fps. The Olympus SP-570 10-megapixel prosumer camera has the longest superzoom lens on a compact camera. The lens covers a range of 26-520mm (35mm equivalent).
The interesting pre-capture mode that seems to be the rage this days enables recording of five frames** before the shutter is even released. Powered by 4 x AA batteries, the Olympus SP-570 can take Panorama pics when using Olympus branded xD-Picture Cards. Come outs March 2008 for $500.
