iVideosongs Free Online Music Tutor
iVideosongs, a new music-instruction-based Website, will be launching tomorrow morning, January 29th, at 8AM ET. Essentially, it’s a site that allows you to learn how to play songs by the original artists (artists from The Rolling Stones, The Doobie Brothers, The Allman Brothers Band, etc have signed up) and world-class instructors. What sets iVideosongs apart from the other guitar instruction Websites is that they have spent years getting music publisher buyoff to enable them to present complete and accurate songs. That’s why most everything else out there is parts of songs or techniques.
iVideosongs will be launching tomorrow at DEMO 2008, and I think its a good site for those who love music but have no time to find a music teacher.
iVideosongs has licensed full rights to its songs from BMG Music Publishing, EMI Music Publishing, Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Universal Music Publishing Group, Warner/Chappell Music and also many secondary and tertiary publishers. This allows the company to provide complete and accurate instructional titles, presented exactly as they were originally written and performed. The iVideosongs titles are primarily for electric and acoustic guitarists, but titles for bass, keyboards and drums are also included in the launch.
Artists from The Doobie Brothers, The Allman Brothers Band, Sting’s band, 3 Doors Down, Switchfoot, Rush, 38 Special, Alter Bridge and Vertical Horizon are featured in the iVideosongs catalog. Other participating artists include Graham Nash, Jim Messina, Russ Kunkel, Scotty Moore and Giles Martin.
